Obituary of Jeffrey Allen Ingram

INGRAM, Jeffrey Allen, age 68, a beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away at his home on Friday, February 10, 2023. Jeff was born on October 21, 1954, in Roanoke, Virginia, however Merritt Island, Florida was where he called home.

Jeff grew up in the Merritt Island area playing baseball at Jefferson Junior High School and football (go #70) at Merritt Island High School, graduating in 1973. After high school, he left the area to travel and work in multiple states throughout the U.S. as an IBEW electrician. In 2002, he retired from the union and moved back to the area to start his own electrical business. Years later, Jeffrey retired altogether and has been enjoying retirement at his home in Merritt Island. Some of his many hobbies include surfing, fishing and boating.

Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Shirley Ingram Lanni, sister Livie West (Adam), step-sisters Ginger Pavelchik (John) and Lauren Devol, nieces Courtney Dyer (Danny), Lindsey Davis, Kaitlin Cook (Dylan), and nephew Riley West. He is preceded in death by his father, Allen Eugene Ingram, step-father, Edward Adam Lanni, and sister Anita Davis Ciolli. He is also survived by his beloved "son" Gerald (Amanda) Ogden.

At this time, it is the hope of his family that the focus be on reminiscing on special times and recollections to honor him. A celebration of life may be announced at a later date. While Jeff was taken from us unexpectedly and way to early, he is remembered by all, as someone who would give you the shirt off his back. He lived a peaceful life in his retirement enjoying his friends and family. He was loved and will be missed by many.
