Obituary of Jane Perrin

Mrs. Jane Ann Donohue Perrin, widow of Mr. George Q. Perrin, Jr. and daughter of the late Mrs. Jane Donohue (born Maguire) & Mr. Michael Donohue passed away peacefully on November 8, 2023 in St. Francis Reflections Melbourne Care Center at the age of 97.

 

She is survived by her daughter Ann Marie Perrin Kirkendall and son-in-law Gregg R. Kirkendall, their children Katherine (Katie) and David Kirkendall, her son George Q. Perrin III and his wife Karen Jane Vandersall Perrin and their sons Sean, Conor, Patrick and Brian Perrin and her brother Patrick Donohue. She is preceded in death by her siblings Morgan, Maureen (Heindl), Thomas, Helen (Sullivan), Michael and James Donohue.

 

Jane was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1926, emigrated to the US in 1928 and was raised in The Bronx, NY before moving with her family to Florida in 1970. 

 

Jane graduated from St. Simon Stock High School and later earned an AS in Medical Records Technology from Miami Dade College. During her life, Jane worked as an executive secretary for Seagram's Distillers in NY, housewife & homemaker, secretary at St. Stephens School & Church (Hollywood, FL) and as a Medical Records Technologist before retiring.

 

Jane enjoyed cooking, reading, bingo, playing cards and spending time with her family.

 

Funeral services will be held at Ascension Catholic Church at 11am on Tuesday November 21st, 2023 and will be performed by Jane's nephew, the Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD.

She will be buried at Sebastian Cemetery in Sebastian, FL alongside her mother Jane and sister Maureen.
