Obituary of Sally Wilkinson

Sally Wilkinson, 82, of Cocoa Beach, Fl passed away on March 29, 2024.

She was born in Batavia, NY on August 3, 1941 to the late Charles and Betty Ortner. Sally graduated from Mercy Nursing Hospital in Buffalo, NY and earned her Nurse Practitioner license from Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY.  She worked for 5 years in  Brevard Country, Florida  operating a mobile health unit followed by 20 years as the County’s Nurse Practitioner.  She also volunteered for years with the Brevard Zoo.  

Sally loved her family, was an avid reader and loved travel adventures.  She also loved living on the beach.  

She is predeceased by her sisters, Susan Bradley and Mary Morley.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Kiersten (John) Murnane, her grandchildren Madeline and Jack Murnane, brother, Charlie Ortner and sister Liz (Roger) Popp.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 11am at Our Saviours Church in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Brevard Humane Society.
